Who writes this
History of the world is built by one person, in evenings and spare weekends, one epoch at a time. There is no editorial team behind it and no institution funding it.
Each chapter starts with the same question: what actually happened, as far as the evidence allows anyone to say? The text gets rewritten as sources are checked and rechecked, and the illustrations are built to match — not decoration, but an attempt to show what a period genuinely looked like.
Where the evidence is thin or contested, the text says so, instead of smoothing it into a cleaner story than the facts support.
If you spot an error, disagree with how something is framed, or just want to get in touch, the contact page is the way to do it. This project changes shape a little with every message like that.
